Early in the morning (04:30 AM) drive from Dar es salaam to Nyerere NP; after arriving enjoy a day game drive by modified safari vehicle with a professional guide.

Great animal sighting including all the great favorite lions, elephant, giraffe, buffalo, zebra and all the other major species including the now rare African hunting dog. You will also see a large variety of birds, wonderful scenery with varied topography including wetlands, dry grassland, light acacia forest and higher ground with vast views of far off mountains, in the afternoon at 01:30 PM you will have a lunch box before continuing with a game up to mid afternoon. Dinner and overnight will be at Selous safari Lodge.

After breakfast you will drive to Rufiji river and make a boat tour.
Nestled within the woodland along the banks of the great Rufiji River watching for hippos, crocodiles and birds, and enjoying the spectacular sunrise over this enormous river. After boat tour get to African safari camp and be prepared for a Safari back to Dar es salaam.
