Nairobi - Masai Mara National Reserve

You'll be picked up from the airport or hotel and head to the Masai Mara National Reserve, a land of vast numbers of migrating animals. You will arrive in time for lunch after which you'll embark on an afternoon game drive. Your dinner and overnight stay will be at Elangata Olerai Luxury Camp.
The Masai Mara is one of the best parks for safari game viewing. Sightings of four of the Big Five are guaranteed during your excursion, including the elusive black rhinos, lions, cheetahs, giant herds of elephants, and not forgetting the wildebeest and zebras that cross the plains during peak months. Wildlife viewing in the Masai Mara is good throughout the year, so you don’t need to worry about missing the animals.

You will spend the entire day in Masai Mara National Reserve with early morning and afternoon game drives. You'll explore one of the most famous and most beautiful national parks in Africa, with the chance to spot the Big Five, predators, and an abundance of other wildlife. Residents among the park's mammals include Masai giraffes, zebras, impalas, gazelles, antelopes, and buffalos among others. The park is home to prolific birdlife. Optional hot air balloon rides are available at an additional cost. You also have an opportunity to visit an authentic Masai village. If you’re looking to see a spectacular array of wildlife when on your safari, the best game-viewing months in Kenya are during the dry season from late June to October. The Masai Mara is also Kenya’s most noted location for the wildebeest migration, due to the Mara River crossings. This usually happens in July.
