Your pick-up from Skukuza Airport is at any time and free of charge (however, this pick-up strictly needs to be pre-arranged).

The optional shuttle (including from and back to Johannesburg) departs from Johannesburg at 6:45am or 11:00am from OR Tambo International Airport to Kruger National Park. We can arrange pick-up from your accommodation in Johannesburg to the shuttle (additional cost of ZAR 875 per transfer).

We recommend arriving at Nelspruit Airport (MQP) at 1:15pm (shuttle fee is included). However, private transfers are available to guests booked on flights at alternative times at an additional charge.

After settling into your accommodation, you will go on your first game drive, a South African National Parks sunset or night drive.

Guests on the early shuttle do a sunset game drive, while those guests arriving with the 11:00am shuttle enjoy an early dinner before embarking on a night drive. (Only for children age 6+).

Two Game drives in Kruger National Park

The start time of your morning game drive will depend on when the gate at the Kruger National Park rest camp opens. For example, from April to September, the rest camp gates open at 6:00am; from November to January at 4:30am; and in February, March, and October, the gates open at 5:30am. After the morning game drive, a hot breakfast is served.

Persons between the ages of 12 and 64 can join the optional bush walks. This activity is available to guests staying for a minimum of 5-days/4-nights.

Dinner is a traditional South African meal with a dessert (dietary requirements are taken into account).

You can book an optional Panorama Route tour at ZAR 3500 per group, replacing the planned activities for that day. The activities available to pre-book include a visit to God's Window, Bourke's Luck Potholes, Three Rondavels (in the Blyde River Canyon), and a waterfall excursion (timing dependent). Lunch is en route and for your expense.

Your overnight stay is in the Kruger National Park.

Kruger National Park to OR Tambo International Airport

Once more, enjoy rusks with coffee or tea before the morning game drive commences. This game drive will be your last chance to see the Big Five.

There is an optional shuttle back to Johannesburg (included) or to MQP Airport (included) after brunch (included).

You will be back in Johannesburg between 5:00pm and 6:00pm.

When flying from Nelspruit Airport (MQP/KMIA), your flight needs to leave around 2:30pm.

Drop-off at Skukuza Airport is at any time and included in the fee (please pre-arrange a suitable time).
