Day 1-2

Arusha - Serengeti

You will depart Arusha for the Serengeti at either 10:45am or 1:00pm, eat a picnic lunch upon arrival and then immediately go on a game drive into the Serengeti. Dinner and your overnight stay will be at the Mapito tented camp.

Mapito is located in Ikoma, just beyond the actual boundaries of Serengeti National Park in the very center of the Serengeti ecosystem. In Swahili, Mapito means “the track of animals.” It is an ideal location for wildlife viewing. In fact, you can watch the great migration pass in front of you while seated outside having your glass of wine or juice in the evening!

Mapito - Arusha

After an early breakfast we will head out on a morning game drive. Later you will return to the airstrip for your 10:45am/11:45am flight back to Arusha.
