Arrival in Maun and Light Aircraft Charter to Duba Explorers Camp

Upon arrival in Maun, you will be met by one of our representatives who will assist you with the check-in for your air transfer to Duba Explorers Camp.

Depending on your arrival time at the camp, you may enjoy lunch and familiarise yourself with the camp and its facilities before heading out on your first game drive.

Duba Explorers Camp is a wildlife connoisseur’s getaway, situated on an island in the northern reaches of the 33,000-hectare Duba concession and surrounded on all sides by the pristine Okavango Delta.

This intimate camp consists of five, stylishly furnished, expedition-style tents of light airy canvas on slightly raised decking, each with views of the surrounding floodplain.

You will spend the next 4 nights at Duba Explorers. All your meals, alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages (excluding imported and premium spirits) as well as game activities are included in your stay.

Exploring the Okavango Delta

During the next two days, you will have many opportunities to explore all that the Okavango Delta has to offer.

You'll enjoy guided walks, mokoro and boating opportunities (dependent on the current water level) or early morning and late afternoon wildlife drives and revel in one of the most stunning and varied wildlife areas in the world.

Duba Explorers Camp prides itself on its extraordinary wildlife experiences. Guests of the camp enjoy regular sightings of a diverse range of species, including lechwe, kudu, tsessebe and giraffes. Herds of elephants and buffalo move around the camp and hippos trudge through the swamps creating their channels and paths daily. Lions, leopards and even African wild (painted) dogs are spotted regularly. Birds abound, as the area is a birdwatcher’s paradise.
