After breakfast in Arusha, begin your journey toward the Ngorongoro Highlands. On the way, stop at Mto wa Mbu for a guided cultural tour. Walk through local farms and banana plantations, visit the village market, and learn about the different tribes living in the area. Enjoy a locally prepared lunch before continuing to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Drive up to the crater rim, where cooler air and dramatic views welcome you. Dinner and overnight at the campsite on the crater rim.

Ngorongoro Crater Tour

Rise early and descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for a morning game drive. The crater floor offers outstanding wildlife viewing, with chances to see lions, elephants, buffaloes, hippos, flamingos, and the rare black rhino. After a picnic lunch, ascend from the crater and drive through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area toward the Serengeti.
