Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

You will be picked up after breakfast from Kampala or Entebbe and driven to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park in the south-western part of the country. You'll arrive in the afternoon. In the evening, you'll go for the Batwa cultural experience. You will go through their villages to have an understanding of how they go about their daily routine activities and be amazed by the way they skillfully cultivate the hill sides and how they care for their animals (cows) that are a prime source of pride. You'll have dinner and spend the night.

Gorilla Trek and Transfer to Lake Bunyonyi

This morning, you will enjoy an early breakfast before we transfer you to the national park headquarters for your trek briefing. After this, you will enter the forest and enjoy the early morning beauty and freshness of the forest, which is home to more than half of the world’s mountain gorillas. Tracking the gorillas can take several hours of challenging walking in wet and muddy conditions, but it is absolutely worth the effort. Once you locate the gorillas, you'll spend an hour with them before returning and transferring to Lake Bunyonyi for dinner and an overnight stay at Hawk's Eye.

Boat Ride on Lake Bunyonyi and Transfer back to Entebbe

After breakfast, you'll go for a boat ride on Lake Bunyonyi. You'll be touring different islands and different scenic viewpoints before you transfer back to Entebbe Airport with lunch en route.
