Day 2

Meru National Park

We spend a full day in the Meru – Bisinadi Park. Game viewing in Meru includes large herds of Buffalo, Bushbuck, Duiker, Eland, Elephant, Gazelle, Genet, Giraffe, Hartebeest, Impala, Kudu, Waterbuck and Gravy Zebra. Expect to see Baboons, Hyena, Jackal, Kudu, Lion, Mongoose, Oryx, Oribi, Vervet Monkeys and Warthog. You may see Wild dog, Bush baby, Caracal, Cheetah, Civet, Dik-dik, Leopard, Otter, Bush pig, Porcupine, Black and White Rhino. The rivers abound with Hippo and Crocodile. Birdlife includes Peter's fin foot which inhabits the Murera and Ura Rivers, the Pel's Fishing Owl, Kingfishers, Rollers, Bee-eaters, Starlings and numerous Weavers. Dinner and overnight stay at the tented Lodge.

Day 3

Samburu game reserve

0800hrs-After breakfast, through changing landscapes to the rugged-semi region, though harsh but having unique species like the unusual reticulated giraffe, Gravy’s zebra, Beisa, Oryx, Gerenuk and the Somali Ostrich. These species are rarely found elsewhere.
Arrive in time at Samburu Intrepids tented camp, check in at the lodge and proceed for lunch.
1600hrs- After having an afternoon Kenyan Coffee tea, head-out for another adventurous game drive at the park where you will spot some notable animals that is antelopes, gerenuk, elephants, buffaloes among other animals.
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner.

Day 4

0600hrs- Depart for an early morning game drive at the park in search of the Large predators such as the Lion, Leopard and Cheetah and the Samburu Special five that is Gravy’s zebra, Beisa Oryx, Gerenuk, Somali Ostrich and Reticulated giraffe. This species is rare and can only be found in the north.
0800hrs-Return to the lodge for a full buffet breakfast.
1600hrs- Leave for an evening game drive in the park and explore the park. Wild dogs can also be sighted in the park. Later return to the park for dinner and overnight.
Overnight: Samburu Intrepids Lodge- Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner.

Day 5

Olpejeta Conservancy

Breakfast at leisure.
After breakfast pick up by your driver guide and drive to Olpejeta conservancy.
Upon arrival at your chosen accommodation, you will be served lunch and then be afforded the privilege of visiting the Sweet-waters Chimpanzee Sanctuary. The safe haven for our closest cousins was established by the famed naturalist Jane Goodall in 1993. The work of the sanctuary is to provide a home for chimpanzees who have spent their lives in captivity, and you can learn about their work and the journey of the animals on your visit.

Following your truly magical afternoon with the chimpanzees, you will return to your accommodation where dinner will be served.

Day 6

Olpejeta Conservancy

Following breakfast, you will start your first safari game drive through the wildlife park. Your expert African safari guide will help you to spot and identify to myriad animals you will encounter. The chances of seeing the animals of your dreams are high: Ol Pejeta has the highest density of wild animals per square kilometer out of any parks across Kenya.

Lunch will be served and you will return to the park for a second game drive, ready to spend the day surrounded by nature. A visit to the watering hole will afford you opportunity to view mega fauna in their natural habitat: feeding, bathing, and playing with their young.
