Arrival and Transfer to your Accomodation

Upon arrival, you will be met by our company safari guide who will transfer you to your accommodation in Entebbe. The guide will also brief you about the highlights of your trip. You can have an optional visit to Entebbe Botanical Gardens. The botanical garden offers an excellent introduction to Uganda’s birds, ranging from Lake Victoria specials such as yellow-throated leaflove, slender-billed weaver, forest birds such as great blue turaco, as well as the noisy black and white casqued hornbill. In this garden, you can spot a few primates like the black and white colobus monkeys. You'll return to your accommodation and get enough rest as you prepare for your memorable trip.

Day 2

Transfer to Murchison Falls National Park via Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary

After your delicious breakfast, you'll drive to Murchison Falls National Park. The drive will take you through the Luwero Triangle, Nakasongola long stretch to Masindi town. The highlights of this safari in Murchison Falls National Park include the roaring falls of Murchison, a boat trip to the bottom of the falls, rolling plains of Uganda’s largest National park with chances of sighting elephant, buffalo, lion, and giraffes. Expect a stopover at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for a short walk to see the white Rhinos with a ranger escort for about an hour, seeing them enjoying the sanctuary. You'll have lunch at Kabalega dinners and proceed to Murchison Falls National Park. You will occasionally see wildlife, including warthogs, giraffes, buffaloes as you drive to your accommodation.

Day 3

Morning Game Drive and Afternoon Boat Trip

After breakfast, you'll set off for a morning game drive on the Northern delta with sightings of cape buffaloes, Jackson’s hartebeest, Rothschild’s giraffes, oribi, water bucks, jackals, bushbuck, bohor reedbuck, warthog, and carnivores including lions, elusive leopard, and spotted hyenas. You will return to the lodge for relaxation before setting off for the afternoon boat trip on the Victoria Nile to the bottom of the Murchison falls where you will be rewarded with spectacular views. A boat trip is a highlight of any trip in the Murchison Falls National Park. En route, you will see hippos, Nile crocodiles, elephants cooling off on the shores from the scotching sun, and a variety of bird species. You'll continue with a hike to the top of the falls (if you like) for viewing of the other side of the falls, where the Nile squeezes through a 7 meters’ gorge to the falls 45 meters, a view of the foaming waters rushing into the gorge with a deafening sound. You'll drive back to the lodge.

Day 4

Transfer to Kibale National Park

Transfer to Kibale National Park

After breakfast, you'll drive to the top of the Murchison Falls (in case you did not hike) for a spectacular view of the falls. Thereafter, the safari will continue with a transfer to Kibale National Park. This park is highly alluring to nature lovers for its excellent chimpanzee trekking and bird watching. Its boosts of the highest total of primates such as velvet, red-tailed, L’Hoest’s and blue monkeys, grey-cheeked mangabey, red Columbus, olive baboon, and chimpanzee. Upon arrival, you will check into your room and have a relaxed evening.

Chimpanzee Trekking and Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park

After breakfast, you'll proceed to the park office for a briefing. The highlight of Kibale Forest will be the chimpanzee trekking excursion. While in the forest, expect to see at least 2-3 other types of primates, most especially the grey-cheeked mangabey and red-tailed monkey. You will hear plenty of birdsong. The guides are knowledgeable and will identify various medicinal plants, bird calls, and animal spoor. Once you allocate the chimpanzees, you will be allowed an hour with them. You'll return to the lodge for lunch. Thereafter, you will head out for Queen Elizabeth National Park, arriving in the evening for dinner and an overnight stay.

After a healthy breakfast, you'll go for an early morning game drive through the park, look out for members of the big five, including lions, elephants, buffalo, leopard, and other mammals such as giant forest hogs and antelopes. You will return to the lodge for lunch. In the afternoon, you'll go for a boat trip along the Kazinga Channel. It’s a great trip with elephants, buffalo, waterbucks, large hippo pods, and giant forest hog will be observed from time to time. Keep an open eye for the enormous monitor lizard, which is common in the riverine scrub, as well as crocodiles. Water birds are plentiful, such as the yellow-billed stork, pelicans, fish eagles, and crowned eagles. You'll go back to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

You'll have breakfast. Later, you will be transferred to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park through the Ishasha sector, which is well known for the tree-climbing lion population. Ishasha sector also harbours decent concentrations of hippos, elephants, buffalo, and antelopes. You will have lunch in Ishasha and continue to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, which is home to the endangered mountain gorillas reaching in the evening for dinner and an overnight stay.

Gorilla Trekking and Transfer to Lake Bunyonyi

After an early breakfast, you will drive to the park offices for a briefing. Gorilla trekking is a highlight of your safari; you'll trek through the rainforest and bamboo-covered slopes. You will love the trekking in the ecosystem of the park. Depending on the nature of the activity, take with you your lunch box and all the necessary gear, which will be advised by the company. The trek will take 3-5 hours, depending on the movement of the gorillas. Later, you will drive through the terraced hills to Lake Bunyonyi. You'll check into your lodge for a relaxed evening with a stunning view of the lake. You can have an optional canoe ride on the lake to discover its scattered islands.
