The safari will begin with a transfer to Lake Mburo National Park, with a stop at the equator for photographs. You will then continue to Lake Mburo National Park, arriving in the afternoon. After checking in, enjoy lunch and some time to relax. In the evening, head out on a game drive with the chance of spotting zebra and giraffe.

Day 2

Nature Walk and Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

After a relaxed breakfast, you will set out on a nature walk. Lake Mburo National Park is one of the few parks where you can enjoy a safari walk that brings you close to wildlife such as giraffe, eland and zebra.

Afterwards, check out and proceed to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, driving through a striking volcanic landscape with steep slopes en route to the home of the mountain gorillas. On arrival, check in and enjoy a relaxed evening as you prepare for the gorilla trekking adventure the following day.

Day 3

Gorilla Trekking and Transfer to Lake Bunyonyi

Gorilla Trekking and Transfer to Lake Bunyonyi

Wake up early in the morning and dress in the attire recommended by your safari guide for gorilla trekking. After breakfast, you will set out for trekking – truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience. The highlight of your safari is encountering the gentle giants of Bwindi, and hikers will particularly enjoy the trek through the park's unique ecosystem. The trek typically takes three to four hours, depending on the location of the gorillas. Along the way, the park ranger will interpret the flora, fauna and lifestyle of the gorillas. Once you find them, you will spend one unforgettable hour in their presence.

Afterwards, return for lunch before checking out and driving to Lake Bunyonyi. The journey takes you through misty hills, arriving at the lodge in the evening for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 4

Transfer to Entebbe

Transfer to Entebbe

Enjoy breakfast on the lodge terrace, taking in the views of Lake Bunyonyi's beautiful islands and the refreshing breeze from the lake and surrounding hills as you prepare for your return journey to Kampala or Entebbe. A stop will be made en route for lunch and a cup of Ugandan coffee before continuing the drive. On arrival in Entebbe or Kampala, you will be dropped off at your chosen location.
