Drive to Serengeti

Today we head to the Serengeti, famous for its endless plains of savannah and scattered woodlands. Covering about 30,000 km² across northern Tanzania and part of Kenya—80% of which lies in Tanzania—the Serengeti is one of the world’s most celebrated wildlife areas.

The park is renowned for the Great Migration, where around 1.5 million herbivores, followed by thousands of predators, move in search of grazing and water. They migrate from the drought-stricken northern hills to the southern plains, and after the rains in mid-April, they return through the western corridor.

The vast grasslands, which make up over a third of the park, provide habitat for abundant wildlife throughout the year.

At the end of the day, we will head to Intimate Camp Seronera, a beautiful lodge in the heart of the park, where you will enjoy dinner and the unique sounds of nature at night.
