Arrive at Victoria Falls - One of the Natural Wonders of the World

You will be met at Victoria Falls Airport and transferred to your hotel. After you have checked in and freshened up, you will be collected for a guided tour of Victoria Falls. You will be accompanied by a qualified guide, who will give a brief history of the falls, as well as inform you about the flora, fauna, birds, wildlife and other points of interest. The walk along the famous "full frontal" panoramic view of the Falls has its own wildlife rainforest, and you will often see warthogs and antelope enjoying its evergreen growth. During a visit to "The Smoke That Thunders", very few people are prepared for the incredible beauty, strength and power of the mighty Victoria Falls.

Your stay at Victoria Falls will be at the Cresta Sprayview Hotel on a bed-and-breakfast basis. An optional activity this evening could be to enjoy the "Boma Dinner". This is a wonderfully atmospheric evening of entertainment and dining. All tastes and diets are catered for with local dishes (on request).

Full day to enjoy activities at Victoria Falls - The Adventure Capital of Southern Africa

Perhaps you might like to take a walk down to the falls on your own before breakfast, as you know the way from yesterday. You will need to start early to be back in time for breakfast. The falls take on different appearances with the various light directions during the day. In the morning, the mist of the falls, when backlit, creates a softer atmosphere.

After breakfast, various optional activities can be arranged. Go for the white-water rafting expedition in the Batoka Gorge beneath the falls. You can visit the Elephant Sanctuary or take a helicopter/microlight flip over the falls. In the months of August to November, visit the Devil’s Pool on the Zambian side of the falls.

This evening includes the beautiful Zambezi River Dinner Boat Cruise, which passes by islands along the river and the shore. You can often view elephants and hippos swimming to and from the islands and antelope, zebra and giraffe on the river's edge while you dine. Return transfers are included.

Last Day in Victoria Falls

After an early breakfast and depending on your flight departure time, you can go for one last self-guided tour of the falls or some other optional activity. Your driver will then meet you in the lobby area of the Cresta Sprayview Hotel at a suitable time for your transfer back to the airport. Flights are not included in this package, but Mmilo Tours will gladly assist by recommending the best connections to arrive or depart to Victoria Falls. If you are tight on time, we can also include the flights in the tour package (we levy a booking fee and book fully refundable fares).
