Day 1
Arusha - Tarangire National Park

In the morning, you will be greeted by your guide and after an approximately 2-hour drive you will reach the Tarangire National Park. As you enter the park, your guide will open up the roof for your better viewing experience. The landscape is made up of seasonal marshes and a seemingly endless tree savannah with its mighty baobab trees some of which are estimated to be over 700 years old. The park is home to the largest elephant herds and the best viewing of these giant creatures, the park also offers great sighting of big cats, giraffes, buffaloes, baboons and birds. After an extensive game drive you will drive to Tarangire Tortilis Tented Camp for Dinner and overnight.

Day 2
Tarangire - Ngorongoro Crater

Morning game drive in Tarangire National Park again, then later back to your accommodation for lunch before depart and drive to Ngorongoro Crater rim for Dinner and overnight at Ngorongoro Tortilis Camp.
During the months of June to November when we have the seasonal migration of wildebeest and zebras the park bust into live with possible the biggest concentration of wildlife outside Serengeti national park and the largest population of elephants per square kilometers in the world.

Day 3
Ngorongoro Crater - Serengeti National Park

Today you will descend into the Ngorongoro Crater floor for full day game drive. Grass steppes and acacia forests are home to almost all the species of animals found in the East African savannah. In only a few hours, you have the chance of spotting the four of the big five – lion, Elephant, Buffalo, and Rhino. After extensive game viewing and a picnic in the crater, you will leave the Ngorongoro Crater in the afternoon and depart to the central part of the Serengeti. This part is famous for the abundance of lions and leopards that can usually be seen quite easily. Game viewing in the central area is spectacular all year round. Enjoy the views of endless plains and stunning wildlife like cheetahs, elephants, giraffes, hippos, ostrich, jackals, hyenas, hyrax and many more. Dinner and overnight will be at Serengeti Tortilis Tented Camp.

Day 4

After early breakfast this morning, depart the Camp at 06:30 am, ready for full day game drive, enjoy an amazing game drive. The great diversity of Serengeti wildlife is evident here—look for buffalo, hippopotamus, elephant, giraffe, antelope, Thompson’s and grant’s gazelle, and lions. If you are there during the spectacular wildebeest migration, you will be more than astonished. In the late afternoon we venture out in another game drive. Everywhere there are animals, monkeys and, yes, bird, but look closely and you will be thrilled to see the huge jungle cats—lion, leopard and cheetah—watching the world go by. Nothing is quite so essentially ‘Safari’ as the traditional ‘bush dinner’. Typically, our bush dinner takes place at a scenic location on the plains. Our guests will find that a table and chairs have already been set up. Begin with sundowners, the selection of meat, fish and poultry will be supplemented by vegetarian choices, salads, fruit and desserts from the main camp.

Day 5
Serengeti - Kigali - Volcanoes Mountain

Early morning game drive again in Serengeti with packed breakfast, while driving slowly towards Seronera Airstrip where you will take a flight around 09h15 to Kigali, arrive Kigali around 11h00, meet your guide and stop for lunch before proceed to Musanze for Dinner and overnight at Five Volcanoes Boutique.

Day 6
Gorilla Tracking

After an early morning breakfast, you will transfer to the park headquarters together with your packed lunch early enough to be briefed about the code of conduct while with the gorillas.
This will be followed by entering the forest in search of the gorillas in the forest which may take 2-6 hours depending on the movement of the gorillas in the jungle. Meet and stay with the gorillas for a maximum of one hour.

Day 7
Volcanoes - Kigali
Volcanoes - Kigali
Today is your day for packing, have breakfast take a visit to the Twin Lakes of Burera and Ruhondo. These Magnificent twin lakes of Burera and Ruhondo and its Swamp Rugezi are the excellent photogenic, serene and scenic places for Bird watching activity. Later transfer to Kigali airport for your outbound flight. On your way and if the weather favors you will get some stopovers to admire the scenery and the beautiful terraced hills.
NOTE: You can still add another night in Kigali, if you still have time or you have morning flight. Remember to discus this with your consultant, upon request.
