Nairobi to Lake Nakuru National Park – The Flamingo Haven of Nakuru

Our safari guide will pick you up from your hotel or the airport, ready for your journey to Lake Nakuru National Park. You will travel along the edge of the Great Rift Valley, pausing at a scenic viewpoint for breathtaking photography as the landscape drops from lush highlands to vast golden plains below. Extinct volcanic hills rise in the distance, with shimmering lakes adding to the dramatic panorama. Descending into the Rift Valley, you will continue to Lake Nakuru National Park, arriving in time for lunch at the lodge. Famous for its pink flamingos and diverse birdlife, the park offers a beautiful introduction to Kenya’s wilderness. After lunch, enjoy an afternoon game drive from 3:00 pm to 6:30 pm as you explore the park’s rich wildlife and sweeping landscapes. Your day ends with dinner and an overnight stay at the charming Lake Nakuru Sopa Lodge.
