Day 1

After breakfast depart for Tarangire, Tanzania's third largest national park and sanctuary for an unusually large elephant population for game drive, with picnic lunch. Majestic baobab trees are an interesting feature of the park, dwarfing the animals that feed beneath them. Animals concentrate along the Tarangire River, which provides the only permanent water supply in the area. There is a great diversity of wildlife including lions, leopards, cheetahs, different antelopes, giraffes, hyenas, jackals, zebras and up to six thousand elephant. In the late afternoon you will continue to Eileen's trees inn for dinner and overnight.

Day 2

African life experience, Tree climbing lions

After breakfast you will drive to Mtowambu village for a guided village walk where you interact with the local people and learn about their daily life. You will visit a local bar, a banana and rive plantation, a local school and a typical Tanzanian family. You will then continue for a game drive in Lake Manyara national park with picnic lunch. This park has the larges concentration of monkeys in Northern Tanzania. You will also be looking for more elephants, giraffes, impalas, warthogs, dik dik and if you are lucky you may see the rare tree climbing lions. In the late afternoon you will continue to Eilen's trees inn for dinner and overnight.

Big cats experience

Big cats experience

After breakfast drive to Serengeti national park for lunch at Serengeti Osinon camp. On the way you will visit a traditional Maasai village to explore these traditional people of East Africa. After lunch you will continue with game drive in Serengeti national park. In the evening you will return to the camp for a hot shower then meat your guide at the fire place. Enjoy a cold drink as your guide gives you a short history about Tanzania history. Dinner and overnight will be at Into Wild Africa.

Hunting predators

Early morning game drive in Serengeti national park looking for hunting predators, then return to the camp for breakfast. After breakfast you will depart for a full day game drive with picnic lunch. Serengeti is the park with the largest concentration of big mammals in the world. In this park you will expect to see most of exciting wildlife like big prides of lions, cheetahs, leopards, hyenas, jackals, hippos, crocodiles and many more. In the late afternoon you will return to the camp for a hot shower then meet your guide at the fire place. In a clear night this will be a great opportunity for you to learn about the African night sky as you listen to the different animals sounds in the wild. Dinner and overnight will be at Into Wild Africa.

The endangered black rhino

After an early breakfast you will drive to Ngorongoro for game drive in the crater, with picnic lunch. In the crater you will mostly be looking for the endangered black rhino. Other animals include prides of lions, spotted hyenas, gazelles, hippos, warthogs gazelles, zebras and depending on the season, pink flamingos. In the late afternoon you will continue to Marera valley lodge for dinner and overnight.
