Masai Mara National Reserve

Upon arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport or pick-up from your hotel in Nairobi, you will be warmly received by your tour driver-guide from Bencia Africa Adventure & Safaris. After a short briefing, you will depart Nairobi and begin your journey to the famous Masai Mara National Reserve.

The drive takes you through the scenic Great Rift Valley, with a stop to enjoy breathtaking panoramic views and photography opportunities. You will continue via Narok Town Narok en route to the Masai Mara.

Upon arrival, you will check in at your lodge and enjoy lunch. In the afternoon, proceed for a game drive across the vast savannah in search of wildlife, including migrating wildebeest, zebras, and the Big Five—lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo, and rhino.

Later in the evening, return to your camp for dinner and overnight stay at Sarova Mara Game Camp or similar.

Explore Masai Mara National Reserve

After breakfast, depart the camp for a full-day game drive in the Masai Mara National Reserve with packed lunch.

Explore the park in search of predators and abundant wildlife including lions, cheetahs, zebras, wildebeest, giraffes, hippos, and crocodiles, with a visit to the Mara River for lunch and wildlife viewing.

Optional early morning hot air balloon safari is available at an extra cost. Depending on travel dates, you may also witness the Great Migration within the reserve.

The Great Migration typically occurs around July to October, when massive herds cross into the Mara and dramatic river crossings may be witnessed (timing varies depending on rainfall patterns).

Return to the lodge in the evening. Dinner and overnight at Sarova Mara Game Camp or similar.

Masai Mara National Reserve - Lake Nakuru national park

After an early morning breakfast, you will check out from the lodge and depart for Lake Nakuru National Park.
Upon arrival, you will check in at Sarova Lion Hill Game Lodge (or a similar lodge) and later proceed for an afternoon game drive within the park.

Lake Nakuru National Park is well known for its large populations of flamingos, rhinos, and diverse bird species, and is the only freshwater lake among the Rift Valley lakes in Kenya.
In the evening, return to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.
