Day 1

You'll be picked up from your hotel in Arusha Town and drive to Arusha National Park with your picnic lunch box. This small but beautiful Tanzanian national park is the closest to the famous Arusha “safari town” (40 km) as well as Kilimanjaro Airport. Not only is the animal life in the park abundant but it is also one of the most beautiful and topographically varied parks in Tanzania. The park’s three most significant features include the rugged Mount Meru, Tanzania’s second-highest peak at 4566m. The notably different colored Momela Lakes and the 3km wide Ngurdoto Crater, which was formed about 15 million years ago! It also has an amazing view of Mt. Kilimanjaro. First, take a walking safari for about 2 hours in the morning with an armed ranger to see the beauty of the park on foot. Thereafter have a game drive in the park enjoying wildlife viewing till late afternoon. Later, back to Arusha Town to arrive in time for dinner. Your overnight stay will be at Green Mountain Hotel.

Day 2
Arusha Town to Lake Manyara National Park

After breakfast, you'll drive from Arusha Town to Lake Manyara National Park with your picnic lunch. The park is famous for its green scenery and varied birdlife. This enchanting park is noted for its beauty and incredibly lush acacia forest with giant figs and mahogany trees, which are home to troops of baboons and blue monkeys. The park is also home to large numbers of buffalos, giraffes, elephants, impalas and a hippo lake, where large numbers of hippos usually gather. This park is also popular for its tree-climbing lions and the flamingos in the lakeshore. The game drives are done along the shore of the lake, providing incredible views of animals in the foreground with the lake, flamingos and flat plains on the horizon. Enjoy game drives till late in the afternoon then drive back to the campsite near the park gate. Your dinner and overnight stay will be at Fanaka Lodge and Campsite (basic camping tent).

Day 3

After an early breakfast, you will depart with your picnic lunch for Serengeti National Park via the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. You'll see large prides of lions lazing in the long grasses, plenty of elephant families feeding on acacia barks and trumping to each other across the plains. Giraffes, gazelles, monkeys, eland, and a whole range of African wildlife are in awe-inspiring numbers. The natural phenomena of the annual wildebeest migration through the Serengeti and the Masai Mara ecosystem attract visitors from around the world. They flock to the open plains to witness the largest mass movement of land mammals on the planet. More than a million animals make the seasonal journey to fresh pasture in the north, then the south, after the biannual rains. The sound of their thundering hooves raising massive clouds of thick red dust has become one of the legends of the Serengeti plains. Your dinner and overnight stay will be at Public CampSite in Seronera (basic camping tent).

Day 4

You'll depart early for a full day of game drives in the Serengeti, stopping at midday for a picnic lunch. Today you will hopefully see four of the ‘Big Five’ (rhinos excluded) as well as hippos, cheetahs, hyenas and much more. The Serengeti is also renowned for its large lion population and is one of the best places to observe prides in their natural environment. Approximately 70 large mammals and 500 bird species are found here. This high diversity is due to diverse habitats, including riverine forests, swamps, kopjes, grasslands, and woodlands. Wildebeest, gazelles, zebras, and buffalos are some of the commonly found large mammals. Much of the Serengeti was known to outsiders as Maasailand. The Maasai are fierce warriors who live alongside most wild animals with an aversion to eating game and birds, exclusively substituting them with their cattle. Late in the afternoon, you'll go back to the camp for dinner and your overnight stay at Public CampSite in Seronera (basic camping tent).

Day 5

You'll have an early breakfast and then go for another game drive in the Serengeti with your picnic lunch. You'll have a chance to see all the big four i.e. lions, elephants, buffalo, hippos and many other game animals till afternoon. Then you'll drive to Ngorongoro Conservation Area.
Masai Boma Tour: You will see a demonstration of traditional Maasai dance and get the opportunity to see the day to day workings of a Masai village. You'll also have the opportunity to purchase locally handmade jewelry, learn their fascinating culture, and why they’ve resisted changing their traditional nomadic way of life in modern times. Enjoy this till late afternoon when you'll drive to your campsite. Your dinner and overnight stay will be at the Simba Public Campsite (basic camping tent).

After breakfast, you'll descend to the seventh Wonder of the World, the Ngorongoro Crator. This caldera was formed as a results of the great movement of the earth that formed the Rift Valley. The Ngorongoro wild reserve is home to a wide variety of wildlife including the big cats and more than four hundred bird species. You'll have a game drive inside the crater till late in the afternoon with a chance to see all the Big Five e.g. lions, elephants, rhinos, buffalo and leopard. There are many other wild animals like hippos, zebras, wildebeests, cheetahs, hyenas, Thomson gazelles just to mention a few. Later you'll ascend to the crater rim then drive to your campsite. Your dinner and overnight stay will be at the Simba Public Campsite (basic camping tent).

Enjoy an early breakfast and then depart from Ngorongoro to Tarangire National Park with your picnic lunch. You'll have game drives in Tarangire, famous for its highest population density of elephants in Tanzania. It's also renowned for sparse vegetation, strewn with baobab and acacia trees, which makes it a beautiful and special location. The park extends into two game controlled areas and wildlife is allowed to move freely throughout. Before the rains, droves of gazelle, wildebeest, zebra, and giraffe migrate to Tarangire's scrub plains where the last grazing land still remains. Tarangire offers unparalleled game viewing, and during the dry season, elephants abound. Families of the pachyderms play around the ancient trunks of baobab trees and strip acacia bark from the thorny trees for their afternoon meal. Breathtaking views of the Masaai Steppe and the mountains to the south make a stop at Tarangire a memorable experience. Late in the afternoon, you'll drive back to Arusha Town.
