Return to the lodge at 18h00 for dinner and overnight at the camp.

Pom Pom, Some say it refers to the shape of the island, while others believe it’s inspired by a local plant or an old hunting reference.
In its early days, Pom Pom was a simple camp designed for adventurous travelers who wanted to experience the Okavango felt like true explorations, Unlike newer glossier lodges, Pom Pom has stayed true to its roots. Remaining small and intimate, this camp thrives on an authentic bush feel with a touch of nostalgia, romantics, and the adventurers, Leopards stalk through dappled light, African wild dogs race through floodplains, and elephants splash their way through golden sunsets.

Lagoon camp, the defined river channels give way to seasonal and permanent floodplains, and oxbow lakes create many secret lagoons favoured by game for drinking in the dry season. This is when the area boasts legendary gatherings of elephants and buffalo — sometimes in herds a thousand strong. These massive congregations naturally attract predators, and Lagoon has earned a premier spots for predators,

Established in the late 1990s, Lagoon was one of the first camps in this pristine, predator-rich wilderness. Tucked along the shady banks of the Kwando River in the remote Kwando-Linyanti region, elephants casually wander by the camp.
