Nairobi-Masai Mara National Reserve

Upon arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, you will be met by the tour driver/guide from Bencia Africa Adventure & Safaris. Depart Nairobi and begin your safari to Masai Mara, driving through the scenic Great Rift Valley, with a stop for panoramic views of the escarpment. Continue descending the escarpment, passing through the Hemingway trails and Narok Town, before heading to Masai Mara.

Upon arrival, check in at your lodge for lunch. In the afternoon, embark on a game drive in the park. Depending on the season, you may witness the Great Migration of wildebeest and zebras. Search for lions, cheetahs, elephants, buffalo, and other members of the Big Five, along with a variety of other wildlife.

Return to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay at Jambo Mara Safari Lodge.

Masai Mara National Reserve

After breakfast at 7:30 am, depart for a full-day game drive across the tree-studded grasslands and rolling hills of the Mara. The park is famed for its great herds of plains game, black-maned lions, leopards, cheetahs, elephants, and a wide variety of other wildlife.

Packed lunch boxes will be provided, and lunch will be enjoyed in the park at the Mara River, which marks the border between Kenya and Tanzania and is a prime viewing spot during the annual wildebeest migration. After lunch, continue your game drive, exploring different sections of the park to maximize wildlife sightings.

In the late afternoon, you may opt for a visit to a Maasai village or a nature walk with Maasai guides, offering insight into the local culture and traditions. Return to the lodge in the evening.

Dinner and overnight stay will be at Jambo Mara Safari Lodge.

You can opt for an optional Masai village visit, otherwise enjoy a full breakfast then depart for Nairobi with lunch en-route, arriving in Nairobi between 4:30 pm and 5:00 pm. You'll be dropped off at your hotel/residence with lots of treasured albums and good memories.
