Tarangire National Park

Your guide will collect you from your Arusha hotel after breakfast and drive to Tarangire National Park. Begin game viewing among baobabs and woodland, looking for elephants, giraffes and birdlife. Pause for a hot lunch, served with dessert and drinks, before continuing your drive as time allows. Later, settle into Serian Tarangire Camp for dinner and your overnight stay. Your guide will introduce the safari through the animals and smaller details you encounter.

Serengeti National Park - North Kogatende

Travel through the Serengeti towards Kogatende, with wildlife viewing along the route and a hot lunch during the journey. Your guide will follow current reports while allowing time to reach the northern camp. When herds are nearby, look for their movements across the plains and around the Mara River. Arrive at Enkutoto Migration Camp for dinner and the first of two nights. This is a transfer day with game viewing, rather than a full day at the river.

Spend a full day exploring Northern Serengeti, taking a hot lunch so the drive can follow current sightings. Near the Mara River, watch how herds gather, hesitate and sometimes move away again. Your guide will explain what you are seeing and view from permitted areas, leaving space for the animals. A crossing cannot be promised. The day also offers opportunities to look for resident wildlife before returning to Enkutoto Migration Camp for dinner and your overnight stay.

Your guide will look for wildlife along the route, with the afternoon mainly devoted to the journey. Return to Enkirari Wilderness Camp for dinner and your overnight stay. Retracing part of the route can reveal different animals and light, but the drive must allow enough time to reach camp comfortably.

Today balances your last Serengeti sightings with the transfer into the highlands.

Pause for a hot lunch and continue within the permitted crater hours before ascending and returning to Arusha for your hotel drop-off. A black rhino is a possible sighting, never a guarantee.
