After an early breakfast, continue your safari toward Northern Serengeti, following the route of the Great Migration.

Today's journey is much more than a transfer; it is a full game drive through some of the Serengeti's most productive wildlife areas. Watch for lions, leopards, cheetahs, elephants, buffaloes, giraffes, and countless antelope species along the way.

As you approach Northern Serengeti, the landscape changes into rolling hills and river valleys that provide ideal habitats for wildlife. Arrive in the afternoon and enjoy a game drive around the Mara River region, where migration herds often gather before attempting dramatic river crossings.

Today is dedicated to exploring one of Africa's most exciting wildlife regions.

Spend the entire day searching for the Great Migration and witnessing one of nature's greatest spectacles. During migration season, hundreds of thousands of wildebeest and zebras gather near the Mara River, preparing for the dangerous crossing into Kenya's Maasai Mara ecosystem.

Patience is often rewarded as animals build up the courage to cross while crocodiles wait below and predators patrol nearby. Even when crossings are not taking place, the area offers incredible wildlife viewing, including elephants, giraffes, lions, leopards, cheetahs, hyenas, and numerous bird species.

Enjoy a picnic lunch in the bush and continue exploring until sunset before returning to camp.

As you leave the Serengeti behind, ascend into the cooler and greener Ngorongoro Highlands. Arrive at your lodge in the late afternoon, where you can relax and enjoy spectacular views while preparing for tomorrow's crater safari.

Day 6

Ngorongoro Crater – Arusha

Ngorongoro Crater – Arusha

Today is your last safari game drive is to the breathtaking Ngorongoro Crater. Be sure to wake up early today so there is no delay on your descent to the crater. When arriving at the edge of the crater, you will take in the fantastic view over one of the natural wonders of the world.

The crater of this inactive volcano is approximately 3 million years old, 20 square kilometres in size, and the largest unbroken volcanic caldera in the world. Due to its natural borders, the wildlife in the crater is amazing. The crater is home to the Big Five and offers an excellent chance to spot the rare black rhino. Throw hyena, zebra, buffalo and elephants into the mix, and you have the perfect canvas for a pretty awesome safari experience.

Later, after the game drive, you will have luchtime, there after you will be back to Arusha for overnight.

At the appropriate time, transfer to Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) for your international departure flight or continue with your beach holiday in Zanzibar.
