Serengeti National Park

Serengeti National Park

After an early breakfast, drive to Serengeti National Park with a picnic lunch in hand for a full day game drive. The word “Serengeti” means “endless plains”, which describes the park’s 5,600 square mile boundary. The sprawling area does not disappoint when it comes to rich game-viewing. Annually, from May to December, millions of animals embark on a migration which brings them from the central Serengeti to Kenya’s Masai Mara and back again, which is an incredible spectacle to experience. Vast herds of wildebeest, zebra and gazelle roam here, as well as elephant, giraffe, and buffalo. As lion, leopard, cheetah, hyena and jackal stalk their meals, you will enjoy a picnic lunch in this open arena. Later in the afternoon, proceed to the camp to check in, have dinner and enjoy your overnight stay.

Main Destination:
Serengeti National Park
Best Time To Visit January to February and June to October (Different areas are best at different times)

Ngorongoro Crater

After breakfast we descend 600m into this magnificent crater for a full-day game drive. The Ngorongoro Crater is one of the most densely populated African wildlife areas in the world and is home to an estimated 30,000 animals, including Tanzania’s last remaining black rhino. Supported by a year round water supply and grassland, the crater supports a vast variety of animals, including wildebeest, zebra, buffalo, eland, warthog, hippo, and elephant. Another big draw card to this picturesque national park is its huge population of predators including lion, hyena, jackal, cheetah and the ever-elusive leopard. We will enjoy a picnic lunch on the crater floor. In the afternoon, proceed to the campsite for dinner and your overnight stay.
