You will depart from Arusha in the morning and head to Tarangire National Park, arriving before midday. Once in the park, you will be able to enjoy both a morning and afternoon game drive with a delicious lunch in the afternoon. Depart from Tarangire in the morning after a hearty breakfast and make your way to the famous Serengeti National Park. En-route to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, you will see some views of Ngorongoro Crater before reaching the Serengeti gate. After lunch, you will head out on an afternoon game drive for the chance to look for some wildlife before sunset and dinner at the campsite.

After a cup of coffee, head out early for your morning game drive for a chance to witness a magnificent African sunrise in the bush. Experience the wilderness and its magnificent creatures as they wake up among the dew-covered grasses. Later, you will head back to camp for breakfast and some relaxation. In the afternoon, as you exit the park, you will have another chance to explore the plains in search of African wildlife. Proceed to your accommodation in the Ngorongoro Conservation Area.

It is possible to see all of Africa's Big Five within the crater, among a vast array of other wildlife, including hundreds of bird species. Enjoy a full day in the crater before departing for Arusha in the late afternoon.

Day 5

Materuni Village - Coffee & Waterfalls Hike

Materuni Village - Coffee & Waterfalls Hike

After an early breakfast, you will depart from the hotel heading toward Materuni Waterfalls. It is a 2-hour drive to Materuni village, located at the foot of Mount Kilimanjaro. You will learn about their traditions and customs, as well as how the local Chagga people grow and process the coffee for substance use. You will also visit a coffee farm, pick coffee and make your own strong coffee locally.

After enjoying your picnic lunch, hike for 30 minutes to Materuni Waterfalls which are about 80m higher, to explore nature and to go for a swim. Later, you will be dropped off at the airport or your hotel in Arusha.
