Day 1

After breakfast, your driver-guide will pick you up, and your safari will commence. You will drive from Moshi to Tarangire National Park. This takes approximately 3 hours. The name of the park originates from the Tarangire River that crosses through the park, being the only source of water for wild animals during the dry seasons. The park is famous for its huge number of elephants, baobab trees, and tree-climbing African pythons. The park covers an area of approximately 2,850 square kilometers. You will enjoy a daylong of game viewing, with a picnic lunch looking out over the river to break up the time in the car. After a nice game drive before it gets dark, you will drive to the lodge or campsite for dinner and your overnight stay.

Day 2
Serengeti National Park
Serengeti National Park
Today, you’re off to the famous Serengeti National Park, home of the Great Migration. Your drive today is spectacular as you drive up the crater highlands, stopping at the rim for a birds-eye view of the spectacular Ngorongoro Crater. You'll continue as you crest the hillside, spread out before you, as far as the eye can see, is the vast Serengeti. Serengeti means “endless plains” in Kiswahili, and this 6,900 sq. mile (18,000 sq. km) park is inhabited by more than 2 million large animals, including more than a million wildebeest, hundreds of thousands of plains zebras, and Thomson’s gazelles. Large predators, including lions, cheetahs, and hyenas, are drawn to the area by prey, which migrate throughout the park. Many smaller animals like rock hyrax, bat-eared foxes, mongoose, honey badger, jackals, monkeys, baboons, and African hares also inhabit the area, along with nearly 500 species of birds. After enjoying lunch, you will depart on an afternoon game drive in the Serengeti.

Day 3

After breakfast, you'll have a full day in Serengeti National Park (morning and afternoon game drives). Your overnight stay will be at Seronera campsite or lodge. (There is an option for an early morning balloon safari for an extra cost, and it can be booked in advance.) Your dinner and overnight stay will be at Serengeti Tented Camp.

Day 4
Ngorongoro Crater

After breakfast, you will drive to the Ngorongoro Crater for a once-in-a-lifetime safari tour. The jewel in Ngorongoro’s crown, this thick volcanic crater is the most significant unflooded and unbroken caldera in the world. Upon descending to the crater floor, you will visit Lake Magadi, a large but shallow alkaline lake in the southwestern corner of the crater, which is one of the
crater’s leading features.

Day 5
Lake Manyara National Park-Arusha
Lake Manyara National Park-Arusha
You'll have breakfast at 7:00 am. You'll have a pick up from the lodge at 8:00 am and drive on tarmac road 60km with a lunch box to Lake Manyara National Park, 330sq km or 127 sq miles on the base of the Great Rift Valley, for the afternoon game drives. The park is home to lions, hippos, elephants, zebras, buffalo, giraffes, baboons, blue and vervet monkeys, warthogs, and more. About 350 species of birds have been recorded. This small park also contains five distinct vegetation zones. Thus supporting a large variety of birds and animals. The Lake Manyara National Park is also famous for its large flocks of flamingos. In this park, canoeing has recently been added to the tourist activities at an extra cost. This is a great way to see the park from a new perspective. You'll be dropped off in Arusha or at the airport.
