Early in the morning, after breakfast (or upon your arrival in Arusha), your guide will pick you up for a short briefing before beginning your journey to Tarangire National Park. Upon arrival, you’ll enjoy a full day of game viewing, with a picnic lunch served inside the park. About the Park:
Named after the life-giving Tarangire River that flows through it, the park is a haven for wildlife—especially during the dry season when animals gather around the river. Ngorongoro Crater – Game Drive & Maasai Visit
After an early breakfast, you'll head to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, driving through the scenic highlands toward the crater rim. Before descending, you'll stop at a traditional Maasai village, where you'll be welcomed with song and dance, learn about their customs, and get a glimpse into their unique way of life. After this cultural experience, you’ll descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for a remarkable game drive. Here, you’ll have the opportunity to spot an incredible range of wildlife, including lions, elephants, buffaloes, hippos, and with luck the endangered black rhino. After your picnic lunch in the crater, you'll ascend and begin your transfer to Arusha, marking the end of your unforgettable safari.
The Ngorongoro Crater is the world’s largest intact volcanic caldera, formed 2 to 3 million years ago following a massive volcanic eruption. It sits about 1,800 meters (5,900 feet) above sea level and is home to over 30,000 animals, along with an impressive variety of birds.
