Your personal safari specialist and driver will pick you up from Arusha Town ready for your safari. You will be briefed on your journey ahead. Equipped with a wealth of knowledge, our experts will be able to answer any questions you have and provide you with the information necessary for an unforgettable safari experience.

You will begin your journey to the unique Tarangire National Park. As one of the last untouched places on Earth, Tarangire is famous for its herds of elephants, majestic against the stunning backdrop of ancient Baobab trees. Between November and June, many of Tarangire’s larger residents follow the rains to greener pastures. After a day spent exploring Tarangire, you will head to your reserved accommodation for dinner and overnight rest.

Day 2

After breakfast, you'll drive to Ngorongoro and start your descent into the Ngorongoro Crater. With one of the highest concentrations of wild animals in any African national park, you will see everything you would hope to during your morning game drive.

Residents of the Ngorongoro include lions, elephants, giraffes, zebras, buffalo, hippos, flamingos, jackals, rhinos, antelopes and many rare birds. You may even get to see the” Big Five” all in one day!

After a picnic lunch, we will depart for the South Serengeti, one of the most scenic drives in Tanzania. You can see Maasai warriors grazing cattle and, depending on the time of the year, you could catch the mass migration of some two million wildebeest and zebra. Before entering the Serengeti National Park, you visit a traditional Maasai village and experience how this ancient tribe has lived for hundreds of years, receiving a personal tour of the manyattas (houses).

Day 3

Today, you'll depart at around 6:00 am in search of nocturnal predators returning from their night’s hunt or animals waking up in the early dawn. Breakfast boxes will be provided and there is time for a brief bush breakfast to enjoy the sunrise. Your next drive will continue in search of prides of lions, cheetahs and leopards which are all in abundance throughout the Serengeti. As we pass by the Seronera Information Centre, you will learn the history of the park before returning to your lodge for a relaxed lunch. To maximize your time in the park, a picnic lunch can also be arranged.

Later in the afternoon, when the sun is less intense, there is the option to take an early evening game drive or nature walk around the camp with the resident tribesmen. He will happily share his knowledge of any plants and animals you pass on your walk. It's a long day but worth the extra effort!

Enjoy breakfast with views over the stunning Serengeti plains. Leave early from your accommodation and start enjoying your game drive en route to Naabi gate. On the way, your driver-guide will be happy to share their knowledge of the region's plants and animals with you. Upon arrival in Arusha, you will be dropped off at your reserved accommodation.
