Serengeti National Park

Today’s tour departs at around 6 am in search of nocturnal predators returning from their night’s hunting, or animals waking up in the early dawn. Breakfast boxes will be provided for a brief bush breakfast to enjoy the sunrise. Your next drive will continue in search of prides of lions, cheetahs and leopards which are all in abundance throughout the Serengeti. As we pass by the Seronera Information Centre, you will learn about the history of the park before returning to your lodge for a relaxed lunch. To maximize your time in the park, a picnic lunch can also be arranged.

Later in the afternoon, when the sun is less intense, there is the option to take an early-evening game drive, or a nature walk around the camp with one of the resident tribesmen. He will happily share his knowledge of any plants and animals you pass on your walk. A long day, but worth the extra effort!
