Early Morning Drive from Dar-es-Salaam to Mikumi National Park and Afternoon Game Drive

You'll be picked up at the hotel or airport in Dar es Salaam early in the morning and then drive for 5 to 6 hours to Mikumi National Park with a stop for lunch on the way. On arrival, go for an afternoon game drive until sunset. In the late evening, drive to the camp for your hot dinner and overnight stay.

Half Game Drive at Mikumi National Park then depart to udzungwa mountains

After breakfast, go for a half-day game drive across the enormous beautiful Mikumi National Park until late evening then depart to udzungwa mountains where you will be able to observe local people doing there daily activities and go straight at the camp for your overnight stay and a hot dinner.

Hiking at udzungwa mountains then Depart to Dar-es-Salaam

After an early breakfast, collect your packed lunch boxes and depart to Udzungwa Mountains National Park. On arrival, the driver guide will transfer you to the starting point of the hike. This is a hike through the beautiful forests and landscape scenery up to an amazing waterfall. While hiking with a professional guide you will learn about various trees used for traditional healing and other poisonous trees. Also, the view of the largest Tanzania sugarcane plantation (Kilombero Sugarcane Valley) from the waterfall is just incredible. You'll be back from the mountain in the late afternoon and you'll be picked-up by your driver at the gate and then drive back to Dar-es-Salaam.
