Gorilla tracking in Bwindi Uganda & return to Kigali

Wake up very early and head out to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park in southwestern Uganda. The activity involves walking through steep hills, dense forest, rivers, and streams before finally encountering a gorilla family.

Upon arrival, we will proceed to the park headquarters, where your guide will complete the necessary registration procedures. You will then meet your ranger guide for a briefing about gorilla tracking in Bwindi National Park.

This briefing prepares you for a once-in-a-lifetime experience, as you begin tracking through the tropical forest, surrounded by the park’s natural beauty and refreshing cool breeze.

After completing your gorilla trekking experience, we will immediately drive back to Kigali for an overnight stay.

Transfer to Akagera National park, Game Drives and Boat Safari

Early in the morning, we depart from Kigali at around 5:00 AM for a day trip to Akagera National Park, located approximately two hours away. Akagera National Park is predominantly a savannah park, offering classic African wildlife experiences.

Upon arrival through the southern gate, you will proceed to the park reception for a short briefing. The game drive then continues toward the northern sector of the park, which is known for its rich wildlife due to its diverse landscape and vegetation.

During the game drive, you will have opportunities to spot a variety of animals, including elephants, zebras, giraffes, buffaloes, impalas, waterbucks, rhinos, the elusive leopard, and lions.

The game drive can last up to six hours, depending on wildlife sightings and your level of interest. You will enjoy a picnic lunch within the park before continuing your exploration.

Later in the evening, you will exit the park, retrun to Kigali by 9pm, Marking the end of your safari experience.
