Upon arrival in Burundi, you will be picked by our Kubwa Five Safaris representative with your name printed on an A4 paper from Bujumbura International Airport and be transferred to your hotel.

In the afternoon, you will tour Bujumbura City, visit the cultural and Snake museum, Tour the memorial, the city hall, and Lake Tanganyika which is the most prominent attraction in the area.

After having your breakfast, you will be driven for over 120 kilometers to tour the genuine source of the Great Nile found at Rutovu. In the evening drive back to Bujumbura. On your way back, you will visit the Islam Culture Centre and the President’s Office.

After the tour, you will be taken to your lodge.

After breakfast, you will go to the Memorial of the Explorers in the morning which is a massive rock in the outskirts of Bujumbura. It commemorates the conference of Hanington with John Speke who both where explorers. Visit the local market, Bujumbura’s down-town and the crafts centre. After lunch, you will then catch your return flight.
