Pick you up at the hotel or airport early in the morning in Dar-es-salaam and drive 5 - 6 hours to Selous Game Reserve (Currently known as Nyerere National Park) arriving at lunch. After lunch, go for an evening boat safari through the Rufiji River. Here you can experience the aquatic life mostly crocodiles and hippos, also you can see some animals come for drinking, also you can see uncountable number of bird species since the reserve has over 440 known species of birds while enjoying an amazing reserve's sunset. Back in the late evening for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 2

Early breakfast at 06.00 and then a 20 - 30 minutes drive to the Selous Game Reserve. All day game drive in a specially modified safari vehicle with a professional guide, in which you should see and learn much about a large number of animals, including all the great favorites – lion, elephant, giraffe, buffalo, zebra – and all the other major species including the now rare African hunting dog. Great variety of bird species. Wonderful scenery, with varied topography: wetlands, dry grassland, light acacia forest and higher ground with long views to far-off mountains. Packed lunch and time to rest. Your guide will select a location with shade and water nearby to watch animals coming to drink – a place with a clear view all round so that no predator can creep up unseen! Back to the camp by 6.30 for sunset and dinner.

An early morning walking safari with a Bushman across the reserve's environment to learn various histories (including traditional trees used as medicines for traditional healing, various animals’ footprints and other small animals which you cannot see during the game drive). You may also be able to spot some animals heading to the river for drinking and hippos returning to their dwelling after their forage, after a walking safari we drive to Mikumi National Park for your overnight stay.

Day 4

Morning game drive across the enormous beautiful Mikumi National Park, explore the Mkata flood plain is an attractive point of the explore the park where you can easily spot a large number of animals including elephants, buffalos, zebras, giraffes, wild dogs, and impala and spot a rich number of bird species. The vegetation of this area consists of Savannah dotted with acacia, baobab, tamarinds, and some rare palm, at the furthest from the road, there are spectacular rock formations of the mountains Rubeho and Uluguru. After a game drive, you will be transferred to Udzungwa Mountains for your overnight stay.

Day 5

After an early breakfast, collect your packed lunch boxes and depart to Sanje Waterfalls. On arrival, your driver guide will transfer you to the starting point of the hike. This is a hike through the beautiful forests and landscape scenery up to an amazing waterfall. During hiking with a professional guide, you will learn about various trees used for traditional healing and others poisonous, and the view of the largest Tanzania sugarcane plantation (Kilombero Sugarcane Valley) from the waterfall is just incredible. Back from the mountain in the late afternoon, then picked-up by your driver then drive back to Dar-Es-Salaam.
