Serengeti National Park
In the morning at 7:00 am, we'll pick you up from your hotel in Arusha and drive 382km to Serengeti, a drive of about 7 hours. You will pass the Ngorongoro Conservation before you reach the plains of the Serengeti National Park. The Serengeti is the largest park in Tanzania and has a diversity of habitats and landscapes including short grass plains, savannah, thick bush, swamps, mountains, and lakes. Bizarre rock formations called kopjes dot the grassy landscape where predators are often seen. Depending on the season, you will witness the migration of thousands of animals for which this park is famous.
During the short rainy season in November and December, the herds move from the hills in the north to the plains in the south. During the longer rainy season from April to June, they return up north. Overnight will be at Rest House Lodge Serengeti.

Serengeti National Park
You will have a full day of excursions in the Serengeti National Park on this day, enjoying the famous Serengeti sunrise. Go on morning and afternoon game drives, and enjoy the famous Serengeti sunset from the camp. The center of the Serengeti, called Seronera, is a network of rivers that ensure dependable water supplies, which attracts wildlife throughout the year. It is here that you’ll have your best opportunity to spot the “Big Five” (lion, elephant, buffalo, rhino, and leopard). There will be no shortage of animal sightings as the presence of permanent mud pools and shade attract giraffes, impalas, warthogs, and hippos. You might also catch a glimpse of cheetahs, hyenas, and jackals.

Most commonly seen are large bull elephants and the endangered species of black rhinos.
The crater is also home to big herds of wildebeest and zebras, Thomson's and Grant's gazelles, hippos, Cape buffalos, prides of lions, hyenas, serval cats, golden and black-backed jackals, and close to 400 species of birds. Upon finishing your afternoon game drive, proceed back to Arusha/Kilimanjaro for an overnight stay. This is where your tour ends.
