Arusha to Serengeti National Park

Very early in the morning, you will be picked up from your hotel at about 5:00 am/6:00 am. Drive from Arusha to Serengeti which takes about eight hours (includes all stops), as it transits through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area Authority. You will briefly stop at the gate and view point of Ngorongoro Crater to look at a breathtaking view of the crater from far.

Visit the Maasai village: It is optional to visit and explore the culture of the Maasai tribe, known for chasing and hunting lions for safety purposes and warrior superiority culturally.

Serengeti: Arrive late in the afternoon and do a game drive in the Seronera area (center of Serengeti) till late evening. Experience the sunset in Serengeti while enjoying a close view of wild animals. If we may be lucky enough, you may get to see a predator hunting or on a kill. We shall later head to your lodge for our overnight rest.

Serengeti National Park

You'll wake up early to take part in a sunrise game drive. As the sun sets vigor to the savannah, you'll have the best opportunity to see predators in action as they take advantage of the low light and cooler temperatures to look for an early meal. It's an ideal time to see lions, leopards, and cheetahs in action as well as the early morning movements of the wildebeest, zebra, and other herbivores.
Alternatively, you may wish to take to the skies, enjoy a sunrise hot air balloon safari and champagne breakfast. Speak to us about adding this once in a lifetime experience to your safari itinerary at an extra cost.
After your unforgettable morning, you'll return to your lodge for a late breakfast and to freshen up before hitting the road again with a packed picnic lunch. Your driver will select the best possible route based on the time of year and the kind of animals you'd like to see. They cater your day so that your opportunities to see the Serengeti's diverse wildlife are maximized.

You'll have one last chance for an early morning game drive, giving you an opportunity to spot anything you might have missed in your previous game drives. You will then drive back to Arusha.
