Dar es Salaam to Mikumi National Park ( Evening Game Drive)

You'll be picked up from the airport, hotel, or ferry and transferred to the SGR station for your train to Morogoro (approximately 1 hour 45 minutes). Upon arrival, you will drive about 2 hours to Mikumi National Park, stopping for lunch in Morogoro along the way. On arrival, enjoy an afternoon to evening game drive. In the evening, return to Mikumi Bandaz for relaxation, dinner, and an overnight stay inside the park.

Game Drive and Visiting a Maasai Village (Boma)

After breakfast, we'll start on a full-day game drive to spot animals in Mikumi National Park. One of Mikumi's features is that it's stretched across a big plain, so you have the ability to spot a lot of animals. Mikumi National Park hosts animals like lion, elephant, buffalo, impala, zebra and many other wild animals. Enjoy your lunch at the picnic campsites in Mikumi National Park. In the evening, you will go to visit a Maasai village (boma) then head to the hotel for dinner and your overnight stay at Camp lilac Mikumi.

Mikumi National Park to Dar es Salaam

After an early morning breakfast, you will drive to Morogoro town to board the morning SGR train back to Dar es Salaam. Upon arrival in Dar es Salaam, you will be dropped at the airport, your hotel, or the ferry terminal for the second or last ferry to Zanzibar. A Kihindo Tours & Safaris representative will assist you and looks forward to welcoming you again for your next adventure.
