Tarangire National Park

Tarangire National Park

After breakfast, you will be collected from your lodge and driven to Tarangire National Park with lunch boxes in hand. The drive to Tarangire National Park is about 110 km and takes about two hours from Arusha. Tarangire National Park is a vast park best known for its large herds of elephants, but it's also great for lion and leopard sightings, boasts a wonderful variety of birdlife, and features a diverse landscape and wildlife. The stunning Silale Swamp, located towards the south of the park, is almost always rich in wildlife, as animals take advantage of this reliable water source. The park receives water not only from the swamp but also from the Tarangire River. During the dry season, the river serves as the primary source of water for all the animals in the area, making for fantastic viewing. After a full day in the park, we will drive to the lodge for dinner and your overnight stay.

Ngorongoro Conservation Area - Lake Manyara National Park

Located between Tarangire and the Ngorongoro Crater, Lake Manyara offers a unique blend of landscapes and wildlife. It features a beautiful groundwater forest where you can spot blue monkeys, along with abundant giraffes, elephants, lions, leopards, and a picturesque lake often covered in pink from flamingos.

Lake Manyara stretches for 50km along the base of the rusty gold, 600-meter-high Rift Valley escarpment, offering stunning views praised by Ernest Hemingway as "the loveliest I had seen in Africa."

After the game drive, you have the option to join your guide for a village tour. Cycle through Mto wa Mbu Village to experience local life and immerse yourself in the vibrant atmosphere of this town. You'll then ride to a local’s house to enjoy a traditional Tanzanian meal before driving to Arusha for your final safari night.
