Upon arrival at Kigali International Airport or any of the land border points of Rwanda, you will find our driver guide ready to treat you to a heartwarming Rwandan welcome. The guide will transfer you to your accommodation where you will spend the rest of the day relaxing. The swimming pool and spa here offer a great way to cool off from the jetlag.

Day 2

Have breakfast and check out of the hotel for a city tour of Kigali. Among the main sites you will visit is the Kigali Genocide Memorial Centre, where you will discover the sequence of events before, during and after the 1994 genocide. You will also visit a crafts center before heading out to Volcanoes National Park late afternoon.
The further you drive out of the city towards Volcanoes National Park, the more enchanting views of rolling hills you will encounter. You will have stopovers en-route to take some beautiful photos and enjoy jaw-dropping views of the rolling landscape.
After checking into your lodge, you will spend the evening relaxing as you prepare for gorilla trekking the following day.

Day 3
Gorilla Trekking and Cultural Village Experience
Gorilla Trekking and Cultural Village Experience
After breakfast, grab your packed lunch, enriched with an African touch, and head to the trek's starting point. Upon arrival, you will be treated to vibrant traditional Rwandese dances to fire you up. You will then get briefed on the do’s and don’ts of gorilla trekking. You will track one of the 12 habituated gorilla families. The whole adventure can last 2 – 6 hours depending on the pace with which the gorillas are moving from one part of the forest to another in search of food.
Return to your lodge for a hot lunch and relaxation. Later in the day, head out for Iby'iwacu cultural village, a replica of a Rwandese cultural village. Here you will be treated to the past and present traditional ways of life of the Rwandese tribes as exhibited by former poachers who have now embraced the conservation gospel.
Go back to the lodge for overnight.

Day 4

Wake up to a nourishing breakfast, after which our driver guide will transfer you to the starting point for golden monkey trekking. The monkey trek is less exhausting because they mostly dwell in the forest zone -- a terrain that is relatively flat. Given that the activity sometimes stretches up to four hours, you will be provided packed lunch and water to replenish your energies anytime you feel like you need an energy boost.
You will later return to the lodge for hot lunch and transfer to Kigali International Airport.
