Our guide will pick you up from the airport or from your hotel in Entebbe and you will set off for Kibale Forest National Park. The journey from Kampala to Kibale takes approx. 4 hours. The trip is long, but also very nice with a beautiful changing landscape and amazing views of the hills and mountains.

On arrival you will enjoy lunch and then start the Bigodi wetland hike. During this walk, you will see many different birds species and several monkeys.

Day 2

Time to search for the Chimpanzees in Kibale Forest National Park. First, you visit the Ranger's post in the park for a briefing, then the walk starts in the rainforest. The walk can be heavy at times, so wear good shoes and bring a poncho. Try to keep quiet as you’ll have a better chance of meeting the chimps. The Rangers are experienced in tracking so the chances are very high to spot them within a short time.
After the tracking, you will drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park and check in at the hotel.

After an early breakfast you will enjoy a game drive to Kasenyi plains, this area is home to most of the predators in the park.
In the afternoon you will go for a boat ride on the Kazinga Channel, which connects Lake Edward and Lake George. Here you will see very many different bird species and large mammals.

Day 4

Today you will do another chimp tracking, this time in Kalinzu Forest. This activity can easily be changed to another game drive or a Lion tracking Experience, please contact us for the options. After the morning activity, you will drive south to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest, Buhoma sector. After checking in at the lodge you will have an early night to prepare for the Gorilla tracking in the morning.

Day 5

Today is the day for Gorillas. After breakfast, you go to the ranger's post for the briefing. After the briefing, the search begins for the Mountain Gorillas. Depending on the location of the family you are going to visit, the trip can take a few hours. The landscape is mountainous so take good walking shoes. After this exciting experience, you will continue to Lake Mutanda and check in at the lodge at the end of the day.

Another day of hiking, this time in Mgahinga National park, you will look for the golden monkey, this hike takes about 3 to 4 hours. After this Adventure, you will continue to Lake Mburo National Park. Depending on your arrival time you can do a short game drive or relax at the lodge.

Day 7

Walking Safari and transfer to Entebbe or Kampala

Walking Safari and transfer to Entebbe or Kampala

Your last day starts with an on-foot guided safari in Lake Mburo National Park. You will be accompanied by a ranger and he will explain to you all about the park and its Wildlife. The walk will take 2 to 3 hours, and after the walk, you will drive back to Entebbe where your Adventure started. On your way back you will stop at the equator line. At the end of the day, you will be dropped at the airport and it is time to say goodbye to the Pearl of Africa!
