This morning, you will be picked from your destination in Kigali - Rwanda proceeding the border point where you will clear with immigrations and thereafter proceed to Bwindi Forest National Park. You may have a lunch stop in Kabale town depending on the time you will have gotten to Kabale. And after this you will proceed to your lodge close to Bwindi Forest National Park. Later in the afternoon, you may choose to go for a community/cultural walk around the villages close to the park.

This day is always regarded as the biggest of all the safari days. After breakfast, you will head out to the park headquarters to arrive no later than 7:30 am. Here, you will join other visitors for a briefing by the park staff. You will then meet with the lead guide who will take you into the forest to find the gorilla family that you will be allocated to. This may take between 2 to 7 hours round-trip, depending on how long the gorilla family you are trekking will have moved from where it was last seen yesterday. And after this you will proceed to the border point crossing to Rwanda and then lastly to Kigali hence this marking the end of the 2-day Gorilla tour through Kigali.
