On arrival in Rwanda, you will be welcomed and picked up by our Kubwa Five Safaris guide who will be holding an A4 paper with your name printed on it at Kigali International Airport. You will then be transferred to your hotel, where you will check in and have the opportunity to relax for the remainder of the day.

Day 2

After breakfast, we will drive back to Kigali and begin a city tour, stopping first at the Genocide Memorial Site, which provides a brief history of Rwanda. Following the city tour, we will drive northwards to Volcanoes National Park. Upon arrival in Musanze, you will visit the Dian Fossey Center.
Lunch will be provided on the way, after which you will visit a nearby village to experience Rwandan culture, including traditional dance performances.

After breakfast, you will gather at the park headquarters in the morning with your trekking gear and drinking water for a briefing before ascending into the forest to track the golden monkeys.

After lunch, you will be driven to Lake Kivu, which borders Rwanda and the Democratic Republic of the Congo. Upon reaching the lake, you will enjoy the rest of your evening at the lakeside, taking in the serene surroundings.

After breakfast, you will be transferred to Murchison Falls National Park.
On your way to Murchison Falls National Park, you will branch to Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for Rhino tracking, this is one of the unique activities in Uganda, the pearl of Africa.
Second only to elephants when it comes to bulk among African land mammals, white rhinos are intimidating creatures, as you'll see for yourself when you track them in Ziwa Rhino and Wildlife Ranch.
After the Rhino Tracking, you will be driven to Murchison Falls National Park.
Your first tourist attraction in the park is the top of the falls. It is an exciting experience that brings you very close to the rushing whitewater as it squeezes itself through the narrow crevice below. The resulting mist from the turbulence often produces rainbows.
Then you will go on an evening game drive in the lovely park.

Embark on an early morning game drive on the northern bank, where your guide will help you spot a great number of animals and birds.
Other activities in this game drive include bird watching and sightseeing across the open savannah, dotted woodland, and riverine vegetation along the Nile and Albert deltas.
After lunch, you will embark (between 2pm and 4pm) on a three-hour boat cruise on the Nile. This boat cruise offers an amazing view of the falls from the bottom. Hippos, crocodiles, antelopes, and aquatic birds can be seen along the shores of the river.
Safari upstream by boat to the calm Victoria Nile and the base of the falls. You’ll marvel at toothsome hippos and crocodiles. Over the 17-kilometer stretch, you may also see elephants, waterbucks, and Uganda kobs. This area is also home to many bird species.
In the evening, enjoy another game drive to spot any animals you might have missed during the morning drive.

After breakfast, you will be transferred to Kibale National Park. You will leave Murchison Falls, driving southwest through the Albertine Escarpment of the western Great Rift Valley. Drive through Hoima and the Kyejonjo district en route to the colorful and beautiful town of Fort Portal. Fort Portal is capital of the Tooro kingdom and is situated in the shadow of the fabled "Mountains of the Moon," the Rwenzori.
On arrival, you will head out to visit the Bigodi Swamp. This is a beautiful area in the rainforest with an abundance of animals like monkeys, birds, and maybe forest elephants.

After breakfast, you and your guide, with your packed lunches, will head out to the park head offices for a briefing about the do's and don'ts of Chimpanzee trekking. You will start early and take about two to three hours, depending on the location of the chimps.
The opportunity to see chimpanzees in the wild is one of the most memorable of all safari activities. Getting close to these creatures that share so much of our DNA is a once-in-a-lifetime experience, and the excitement of walking through the forest and knowing that they are close will stay with you forever.
After the trek you will go back to your lodge to freshen up and spend the rest of the day relaxing.

After the breakfast, you will go to your next destination, Queen Elizabeth National Park. This is a huge park where wildlife and people co-exist in harmony.
On arrival in Queen Elizabeth National Park, you will go for the boat ride. Some of the best wildlife viewings are done on a boat cruise along the Kazinga Channel, passing squacco herons, pied kingfishers, large numbers of buffaloes and hippos, basking crocodiles, and many different bird species and large mammals.
Thereafter, you will have a game drive.

After having an early morning breakfast, you will be taken to the Ishasha sector to see the tree-climbing lions. The Ishasha sector is well-known for its unique attraction of tree-climbing lions, a highlight of safaris in Queen Elizabeth National Park. In the southern part of the park, you can sometimes see lions hanging out on branches of enormous fig trees while Uganda kob graze in the plains of the Ishasha sector.
After the game drive in Ishasha, you will be transferred to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, home of the famous mountain gorillas.
On arrival, you will embark on a community walk where you will visit the Batwa, which is an indigenous group of
people that have lived in the forest for 500,000 years, enjoy traditional dances and drama from them.

After breakfast, head out to the park head offices with your packed lunches and have a briefing about the do’s and don’ts while in the park with gorillas.
You will head out for gorilla trekking through the misty rain forest. Trekking can take 2 hours or up to 6 hours depending on the location of the gentle giants. Make sure you carry enough water, sturdy shoes, non-flash cameras, and rain jackets. Spending time in the presence of mountain gorillas is a real privilege, so we're sure you'll enjoy trekking deep into the forest to find them.
At the end of this long and exciting adventure, you will be transferred to Lake Bunyonyi, a picturesque site characterized by the 29 islands of various shapes and sizes scattered across its surface. On arrival, you can relax or head out for any of the optional activities, such as zip lining, canoeing, kayaking and ninja warrior challenge each at 40 USD per activity payable at the lake.

We will have lunch at one of the restaurants in town and then proceed to the airport for your scheduled flight to Kenya.
On arrival in Kenya, you will be welcomed and picked up by our Kubwa Five Safaris guide from Jomo Kenyatta International Airport and transferred to your hotel in Nairobi.

After breakfast, you will be transferred to Lake Nakuru National Park.
On your arrival at Lake Nakuru National Park, you will check in at your hotel for lunch and then head out for a game drive. Lake Nakuru is renowned for being an important haven for endangered species, particularly the Rothschild Giraffe and the black and white rhino. Lions, waterbuck, buffalo, and baboons are also residents here.
Lake Nakuru is one of Kenya’s renowned soda lakes and is world-famous for attracting millions of flamingos to its alkaline shores. You’ll witness the legions of fuchsia-pink flamingos feeding on the abundant algae that grows in the warm and shallow waters, which is a sight to behold.
You will go for a game drive to explore the park further.

After breakfast you will spend the whole day in the park with a packed lunch in search of its well-known predators and their opponents like the zebras, wildebeests, giraffes, lions, cheetahs, elephants, buffalos and other animal species.
The price of the hot air balloon is US$485 per person payable with us before the safari. It can be organized early in the morning on this day, then proceed with the normal program.
There's also a good chance you'll encounter leopards and cheetahs. Another memorable thing about visiting the Masai Mara is the landscape of vast savannah grasslands with plenty of flat-topped acacia trees.
