On arrival in Rwanda, you will be welcomed and picked by our Kubwa Five Safaris guide who will be holding an A4 paper with your name printed on it at Kigali International Airport and be transferred to Kigali.

You will go for a city tour in Kigali and have lunch en route. After lunch, you will visit the Genocide memorial site which gives a brief history of Rwanda

After that, you will drive northwards to Volcanoes National Park. On arrival, you will visit the community cultural Village to enjoy the Rwandan culture including the traditional dance.

After breakfast, you will gather at the park headquarters in the morning for a briefing, equipped with your trekking gear and drinking water. The day's activity involves ascending into the forest to track golden monkeys.

While participating in the golden money trek, you will learn facts about golden monkeys that will make your Rwanda tour even more interesting. After lunch you will be taken to visit the Dian Fossey Center.

After breakfast, you will be transferred to Kibale National Park, passing through the Mityana and Kyejonjo districts before reaching the vibrant town of Fort Portal. You will have lunch on the way.

Upon reaching Kibale, you’ll drive to the Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary for a community walk and cultural interaction. This captivating area is situated in Magombe swamp and is renowned for its biodiversity, including various primate species such as red colobus monkeys, baboons, black and white colobus monkeys, blue monkeys, grey-cheeked mangabey, vervet monkeys, red-tailed monkeys, and the L’Hoest monkey. The sanctuary is also home to other mammals like sitatunga, mongooses, bush pigs, otters, and bushbucks.

Chimpanzee Tracking | Transfer To Bwindi Impenetrable National Park | Batwa Visit

After an early breakfast you’ll head to the park headquarters for a briefing about chimpanzee tracking the you begin your chimpanzee tracking adventure. The tracking typically begins early and lasts around two to three hours, depending on the chimps' location.

After tracking chimps, you’ll be transferred to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, which is renowned for its iconic mountain gorillas. Check in at your lodge for lunch and prepare for another highlight of the trip: tracking mountain gorillas.

Bwindi Impenetrable National Park boasts a rich biodiversity, hosting over 346 bird species, 120 mammal species, 400 plant species, 27 frog species (among others), and covering an area of 331 sq km. After arriving you’ll go a community walk to visit with the Batwa, an indigenous group that has resided in the forest for 500,000 years. Enjoy their traditional dances and performances.

Gorilla Trekking | Travel To Lake Bunyonyi With 29 Islands | Optional Activities

After breakfast, head out with packed lunches to the park head offices with your guide. You will have a briefing about the do's and don’t's while in the park with the gorillas. Afterward, head out for the gorilla trekking through the misty rainforest.

Trekking can take between 2 and 6 hours, depending on the location of the gentle giants. Make sure you carry enough water, sturdy shoes, non-flash cameras, and rain jackets.

At the end of this long and exciting adventure, return to your lodge to freshen up then be transferred to Lake Bunyonyi the twisting water body, dotted with 29 islands of various shapes and sizes scattered across the water.

On arrival, you will have optional activities such as zip lining, Ninja warrior challenge, canoeing, or kayaking at a fee payable at the location (40 USD per person per activity)

After breakfast, your next destination is Queen Elizabeth National Park, a vast area where wildlife and people coexist harmoniously. Upon arrival, check in at your lodge for lunch, and then embark on a boat ride.

Enjoy a scenic boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel, which connects Lake Edward and Lake George. This boat cruise offers excellent wildlife sightings, including squacco herons, pied kingfishers, numerous buffalo and hippo, basking crocodiles, various bird species, and large mammals. This is one of the most memorable experiences in the park.

Following the boat ride, you will go for an evening game drive within Queen Elizabeth National Park, aiming to see lions hunting during the cooler temperatures. Expect to encounter Uganda kob, elephants, buffalo, warthogs, leopards, and waterbucks during the drive.

After breakfast, you will be transferred to Ishasha sector for the tree-climbing lions on the Kasenyi Plains, it is time to go to the southern sector of Queen Elizabeth National Park. This area is famous for its tree-climbing lions.

When you arrive in Ishasha, you will first try to spot the lions in one of the huge trees. You will get the opportunity to look for some of the wildlife you missed first time around and you will definitely have fun

Then you will have lunch at your lodge and relax a bit before heading out for an evening game drive in the park
