On arrival in Kenya, you will be welcomed and picked by our Kubwa Five Safaris guide who will be holding an A4 paper with your name printed on it at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport and be transferred to Nanyuki.

We arrive at Sirimon gate and be transferred to your lodge where you will check in and rest

Day 2

Hike To Shipton's Camp

Hike To Shipton's Camp

After breakfast, you will hike to Shipton’s Camp (4,200m) through Liki and Makinders Valley for an overnight stay (a hike of 6 to 8 hours). Here, mountain climbers can sleep in bunkers within the mountain hut. Visitors can enjoy mountain climbing, camping and caving with the mountain's rugged glacier-clad peaks providing the perfect backdrop.

Day 3

At 3 am, you will hike up a steep, stony quarry that cuts through a cliff, clearing visible parts toward Lower Hall Tarns. We arrive at Point Lenana at 6:30 am after about 3 hours.

After the sunrise, descend down to Shipton's Camp (2 hours) for breakfast. Continue down to Old Moses Camp (4 hours)

Dinner and overnight at Old Moses Mountain Camp.

After breakfast, we walk down through the rainforest with over 80 species of mammals including 39 lions, 90 rhinos, 450 bird species, 40 different amphibians and reptiles, and 500 tree species can be seen. After 2 hours, connect with your transport vehicle back to Nairobi.

After breakfast, our guide will pick you up from the hotel at 7.30 am and transfer you to Maasai Mara National Reserve. You will stop at the Great Rift Valley viewpoint for a photo session and then proceed to Narok town, arriving in time for lunch. Proceed to your camp for check-in.

On arrival, you will go for an exciting evening game drive. You will have the opportunity to spot the Big Five and hundreds of other animals and birds.

After the evening game drive, you will be taken to your lodge.

After breakfast, you will depart with a packed lunch and spend the whole day (you will have morning and evening game drives) in the park. Search for the well-known predators like lion and cheetah, and their prey like zebra, giraffe, elephant, buffalo and other animal species.

The Maasai Mara National Reserve offers wildlife in such variety and abundance that it is difficult to believe that over 450 species of animals have been recorded here. You will easily see lions, rhinos, hippos, crocodiles, giraffes, wildebeests, zebras, buffaloes, warthogs, hyenas, jackals, wild dogs, leopards, many kinds of antelopes, and elephants.

In the evening, visit the local Maasai village for a cultural tour. Learn about the Maasai community and interact with the local Maasai people.

Optional activity: An early morning balloon safari can be organized and thereafter proceed with the normal program (USD 485 per person).

After breakfast, depart for an early morning game drive in the park, then proceed to Lake Nakuru National Park. On arrival, you will check in at your lodge for lunch, then head out for an evening game drive.

Lake Nakuru National Park has also earned a reputation as an important haven for endangered species, particularly the Rothschild's giraffe and black and white rhino. Lion, waterbuck, buffalo, and baboon are all residents here.

Lake Nakuru is one of Kenya’s renowned soda lakes and is world-famous for attracting millions of flamingos to its alkaline shores. Feeding on the abundant algae that grow in the warm and shallow waters, witnessing these legions of fuchsia-pink flamingos is a sight to behold.

Last Day With Us | Travel To Hell's Gate National Park | Bike Riding Safari | Fly Back Home

After breakfast, you will to Hell’s Gate National Park to enjoy a bike riding safari which will take about 2 hours.

There are over 100 species of birds in the park, including vultures, Verreaux's eagles, augur buzzards and swifts. African buffalo, zebra, eland, hartebeest, Thomson's gazelle and baboons are also common. The park is also home to klipspringer antelope and Chanler's mountain reedbuck.

The park also has attractions like Olkaria and Hobley, 2 extinct volcanoes and the obsidian forms from the cool molten lava. Within Hell's Gate is the Hell's Gate Gorge, lined with red cliffs which contain 2 volcanic plugs.

After the bike riding safari in Hell’s Gate National Park, you will be dropped off at the airport in Nairobi to connect to your flight back home.
