Gorilla trekking and transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park
Bwindi Impenetrable National Park is home to the forest giants that are cousins of human beings with 98% human-like DNA. Have an early breakfast before setting off for your gorilla-trekking adventure with a specialized guide from the Uganda Wildlife Authority. Besides the gorillas, this impenetrable forest is full of birds, butterflies, and plant species. You will also find forest hogs, forest elephants, sitatungas, and duikers. Enjoy the walk through the forest and spend 1 to 2 hours with the gorillas.
After the gorilla trek, you will continue to the lodge at the Ishasha sector of Queen Elizabeth National Park, known for its tree-climbing lions. Later, we check in at the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Game drive and mighty boat cruise
In the early morning, we head into the Ishasha sector to search for tree-climbing lions in the fig trees. We will also look for buffaloes, elephants, topis, and more. Later, we drive to the main part of Queen Elizabeth National Park with a chance of seeing baboons and other monkeys along the way. After lunch, we head for a classic favourite, a 2-hour boat cruise on the famous Kazinga Channel. It is a 36km channel linking Lake George and Lake Edward.
From the boat, you can spot land and water-adapted hippopotamuses yawning and showing their slashing canines to each other. You will also see the National Geographical's "killing machine", the Nile crocodile, gaping along the banks. Warthog (Pumba from the award-winning "Lion King" movie) is a hallmark sign in this animal home, as well as many different birds.
