Day 1

Tarangire National Park

Tarangire National Park

After breakfast, you will be picked up from your hotel in Arusha and begin the drive to Tarangire National Park, approximately 2–3 hours away. Famous for its massive baobab trees and one of the highest concentrations of elephants in Tanzania, Tarangire offers outstanding wildlife viewing throughout the year.

Enjoy a full-day game drive with a picnic lunch inside the park. Keep an eye out for elephants, lions, giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, buffaloes, impalas, warthogs, and a wide variety of bird species.

In the late afternoon, drive to your lodge or tented camp for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 2

Ngorongoro Crater

After an early breakfast, depart for the Ngorongoro Conservation Area and descend 600 meters into the spectacular Ngorongoro Crater, one of Africa's most remarkable wildlife destinations and a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Spend the day exploring the crater floor, where you have excellent chances of spotting the Big Five—lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo, and the endangered black rhinoceros—as well as hippos, hyenas, zebras, wildebeests, and flamingos around Lake Magadi.

Enjoy a picnic lunch before ascending the crater in the afternoon and continuing to your accommodation near Lake Eyasi for dinner and overnight.

Day 3

Lake Eyasi

Lake Eyasi

Start the day early with a visit to Lake Eyasi, where you will meet the Hadzabe people, one of the last remaining hunter-gatherer tribes in East Africa. Join them for a traditional hunting excursion and gain insight into their unique way of life.

Later, visit the Datoga community, renowned for their blacksmithing skills and rich cultural traditions. This cultural experience provides a fascinating perspective on Tanzania's indigenous heritage.

After the tour, enjoy lunch (depending on your schedule) before driving back to Arusha or transferring directly to Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) for your departure flight, marking the end of your memorable Tanzanian safari.
