Arusha to Serengeti National Park

After breakfast, you will depart from Arusha and drive to Serengeti National Park with a picnic lunch provided along the way. En route, you will pass through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area and stop at the Olduvai Gorge Museum, famous for the archaeological discoveries made by Louis and Mary Leakey that contributed to the understanding of early human evolution.

After entering Serengeti National Park, you will enjoy an afternoon game drive while heading toward the campsite. Keep an eye out for lions, elephants, giraffes, zebras, and many other animals roaming across the endless plains. Dinner and overnight stay will be at Seronera Public Campsite.

Serengeti National Park to Ngorongoro Crater

“Start the day with an early morning game drive in Serengeti National Park, the best time to spot predators returning from a hunt. You may have the chance to see lions, cheetahs, leopards, hyenas, and other wildlife active during the cool morning hours.

After breakfast at the campsite, continue with a game drive while exiting the Serengeti toward the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. A picnic lunch will be served along the way. An optional visit to a Maasai boma is available for an extra cost. In the evening, arrive at Simba Campsite on the rim of the Ngorongoro Crater for dinner and overnight.

Ngorongoro Crater to Arusha Town

After an early breakfast, descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for a game drive on the crater floor. The crater is home to an incredible concentration of wildlife, including lions, elephants, buffaloes, zebras, wildebeests, hyenas, hippos, flamingos, and the rare black rhino.

You will enjoy a picnic lunch near the hippo pool before continuing the game drive. Afterward, ascend from the crater and drive back to Arusha, where the safari ends in the late afternoon.
