Day 1

Upon your arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, you will be met by our company representatives for a meet and greet and briefings. You will then drive to Masai Mara National Reserve via the Nairobi-Narok road. You will have to stop at the viewpoint of the Great Rift Valley for a photo session. The valley is a fault line some 3,500 miles (5,600km) long stretching from Ethiopia to is Red Sea through Kenya. Enjoy further drive via typical African savanna country dotted with local homesteads and colourful Maasai herdsmen grazing their cattle. You will proceed and arrive at camp with enough time to settle in before lunch with a little time to relax before you head out for your first afternoon game drive. You will see buffaloes, lions, rhinos, cheetahs, zebras, topi, elands, giraffes and many more. You will return to camp for dinner and an overnight stay.

You will wake up today for breakfast. As the cool, fresh air fills your lungs, you will feel invigorated and rejuvenated, ready for a great day to explore Kenya’s flagship park. You'll roll down the windows or stand up through the customized pop-up roof hatch and enjoy this unhindered 360 view and the possibilities for what lies ahead. Masai Mara is one of the lushest reserves in Africa and is globally renowned for providing excellent predator sightings in their natural habitats thanks to its relatively large populations of lions, cheetahs and leopards. You will also see many elephants, Masai giraffes, common zebras, impalas, Thompson and Grant’s gazelles, topi, hartebeests, black-backed jackals, spotted hyenas and more. You will return back to the lodge at sunset for dinner and an overnight camp.
