Once we arrive at Tarangire, we’ll embark on a game drive, allowing you to spot the park's rich variety of wildlife, including elephants, wildebeests, zebras, and lions. The Tarangire River, which runs through the park, serves as a major water source, attracting a wealth of animals, especially during the dry season.

Lake Manyara National park Back to zanzibar

Your safari guide will pick you up from your lodge and begin the scenic drive to Lake Manyara National Park, a beautiful gem nestled at the foot of the Great Rift Valley escarpment. Upon arrival, you will enjoy an exciting game drive through the park’s diverse landscapes, including lush groundwater forests, open grassy floodplains, and the shallow soda lake.

Lake Manyara is renowned for its unique tree-climbing lions, large herds of elephants, and impressive troops of baboons. Despite its relatively small size, the park boasts remarkable wildlife diversity and an exceptional variety of birdlife. A visit to this tranquil park adds wonderful contrast to your safari, as its rich green forest and jungle-like environment differ greatly from the other parks on your itinerary.

Later in the day, you will drive back to Arusha Airport in time for your scheduled flight to Zanzabar.
