The safari starts around 8 a.m., after your breakfast. The safari guide will pick you up at your hotel, lodge, or hostel in Arusha. The drive to Tarangire National Park takes about 2 hours, and you will be at the gate of Tarangire National Park at about 10 a.m. From here, you will already start your safari; you will have a full-day game drive in the national park, and you will be at the Marera Valley Lodge around 5 p.m.

Day 2
Transit Serengeti National Park
Transit Serengeti National Park
Today we have a longer drive to the famous Serengeti National Park. After breakfast, at about 8 a.m., the drive will begin. The drive will take about 3 hours, but don't worry, it will be anything but boring. You will be at Serengeti Gate in time for lunch at 1 p.m. There, you will get your lunch, and you can go for a short walk. The break will last about an hour, and after that, you will start your half-day game drive. At about 6 p.m., you will be at the Into Wild Africa Lodge.
Highlights of the transit day:
- Drive through colourful towns and villages.
- Beautiful landscapes.
- Ngorongoro Gate: short break, chance to see baboons, and learn about the history of the crater
- Ngorongoro: view point, perfect place for a short photo session, and a nice view over the whole crater
- Drive from the viewpoint to the Serengeti Gate; from here, you can already see many animals.
- On the drive, there are also many Masai villages.
- Additional: visit to a Maasai village (extra cost).

Day 3
Serengeti National Park
Serengeti National Park
On day 3, we will spend the whole day in Serengeti National Park. At what times the game drives take place, you can decide with the safari guide. Around 5 p.m., you will be back at Lodge Into Wild Africa.

Day 4
Serengeti National Park to Ngorongoro Highlands
Serengeti National Park to Ngorongoro Highlands
Today the safari starts early in the morning, at about 6 a.m. for sunrise. After about 2 hours game drive, you will drive back to the lodge to have breakfast and pick up your luggage. After that, you will do another game drive and slowly drive back towards Ngorongoro Crater to spend the night at Ngorongoro Wild Camp.

Ngorongoro Crater
Ngorongoro Crater
This day, we start in the morning, around 6 a.m. to 8 a.m., to drive down into the Ngorongoro crater. On this full-day game drive, you will have the chance to see many animals and also have the best chance to see a rhino. At the lake, you will have lunch and observe hippos. Around 15:00, you will start the drive towards Lake Manyara National Park, which will take about 1.5 hours. Around 17:00 to 18:00, you will be back at the Manyara Safari Lodge.

Day 6
Lake Manyara National Park to Arusha
Lake Manyara National Park to Arusha
Lake Manyara National Park is the last destination of the safari. We start around 8 a.m. and head towards Lake Manyara National Park. The small park has a large number of animal species and an incredible bird life. At the lake, you will have lunch and observe hippos. Around 14:00, you will start the drive towards Arusha, which will take about 2 hours. Around 16:00 to 18:00, you will be back at the lodge in Arusha.
