The safari starts around 8 a.m., after your breakfast. The safari guide will pick you up at your hotel, lodge, hostel, or airport in Arusha. The drive to Tarangire National Park takes about 2 hours, and you will be at the gate of Tarangire National Park at about 10 a.m. From here, you will already start your safari; you will have a full-day game drive in the national park, and you will be back at the lodge, Marera Valley Lodge, around 5 p.m.

Ngorongoro Crater to Arusha
Today we start early in the morning, around 6 a.m., to drive down into the Ngorongoro crater. On this half-day game drive, you will have the chance to see many animals and also have the best chance to see a rhino. At the lake, you will have lunch and observe hippos. Around 14:00, you will start the drive towards Arusha, which will take about 3 hours. Around 17:00 to 18:00, you will be back at the lodge in Arusha.
