Day 1-2

Kalahari

After your arrival at Windhoek International Airport, you will be met by your driver and transferred into the Kalahari to the Otjimbondona Lodge.

The Kalahari is an exceptionally beautiful living desert. The portion covering Namibia is made up of red sand covered in thin, wispy golden grass and sporadic Acacia trees. These create endless savannahs and an ideal environment for wildlife such as gemsboks, impalas, jackals, and cheetahs.

The Otjimbondona Private Nature Reserve lies on the fringes of the Namibian Kalahari. This boutique destination with only four delicately decorated villas ensures the perfect start to your safari.

Game drives, sundowner drives, and guided nature walks—as well as selected beverages on all nature drives—are included at Otjimbondona.

Day 3-4

Fish River Canyon

You’ll depart from Otjimbondona Airstrip in the Kalahari district to the Fish River Canyon on a two-hour private charter flight.

As you take flight you will get so see a very big part of Namibia as your journey covers most of the southern region enroute to the canyon, which is Africa’s largest and the world's second largest. It provides both solitude and adventure all in one.

The Fish River Lodge is situated in a location that provides guests with the best views from sunrise to sunset. It offers seamless luxury while being inspired by its surroundings.

Day 5-6

Namibrand Nature Reserve

Today you’ll make your way from the canyon to the historic harbor town of Luderitz for a day trip. The town is known for its colonial architecture and the famous nearby ghost town, Kolmanskop.

Kolmanskop was once a small but very rich mining village that is now a popular tourist attraction. Enjoy a lunch at Luderitz and a tour through Kolmanskop before embarking on a coastal scenic flight to the Sossusvlei Desert Lodge.

The Sossusvlei Desert Lodge offers ten exquisite suites resting at the feet of ancient desert mountains. Activities on offer include: a Sossusvlei excursion, a desert drive, a big dune walk, stargazing, e-biking, hiking, and hot air balloon adventure.

Day 7-8

Swakopmund

This morning it’s back to the aircraft for a low-level scenic flight towards the Atlantic Coast. You’ll experience Sossusvlei and the surrounding areas from a bird’s eye view en route to the extraordinary Namib Coastline.

After arriving at Swakopmund you will transfer to the Swakopmund Strand Hotel. Swakopmund is a city-oasis situated at the edge of the Namib desert and the coast of the Atlantic Ocean. This quaint town offers many touristic attractions like splendid buildings, a wonderful promenade, an aquarium, and much more. This culturally rich town will catch your eye around every corner.

Located at the promenade with views of the ocean, the Strand Hotel features a spa, three restaurants, and a small Namibian and German inspired brewery.

Potential activities include: a classic half-day marine cruise with oysters, champagne, and snacks.

Day 9-10

Damaraland

This morning it is time to take flight from Swakopmund towards your inland destination. You’ll experience aerial views of the drastic changing Namibian landscape along the way as we say goodbye to the pale landscape of Swakopmund and the Skeleton Coast and hello to the massive boulders and rolling plains of Damaraland.

Mowani Mountain Camp is a luxurious haven nestled into the landscape by the boulders. Remember to be on the lookout for the desert adapted elephants that roam freely within the vicinity. This camp truly is a sanctuary amidst a dry and dusty region of Namibia.

Activities on offer at the camp include: a Twyfelfontein, Burnt Mountain, and Organ Pipe Excursion as well as guided drives and nature walks.

Day 11-12

Skeleton Coast National Park

Today you’ll leave Damaraland and make your way into the Skeleton Coast area towards Shipwreck Lodge on your privately charter flight. After you have arrived at the airstrip, you will be transferred to the lodge on a two-hour scenic drive.

Shipwreck Lodge is designed to resemble the haunting shipwrecks that line the breathtaking Skeleton Coast. It is truly one of a kind when it comes to exclusive stays.

Activities included at Shipwreck Lodge include: sundowner drives, beach lunches, quad biking, sand boarding, and trips to the Möwe Bay seal colony, shipwrecks, Westies diamond mine, or the remains of the Ventura Bomber.

Day 13-14

Kaokoland

Today, you'll swap two wings for four wheels for the drive from the Skeleton Coast to Hoanib Valley Camp.

This full day journey is one of the most picturesque drives in Namibia. You’ll say goodbye to the white sand dunes of the coast as you journey into the dry clay pans of the Haurisub River. Continuing along the route, you will venture along the Hoanib River, which provides a home to large elephant herds and welcomes you to the Kaokoland.

Kaokoland is known for its extreme landscape combination of mountains, sand dunes, and desert expanses. It also features unique wildlife and nomadic Himba settlements.

The Hoanib Valley Camp can be found in the midst of this remote and wild environment. It is very elegant and creates an intimate feel while being immersed in the desert.

Activities on offer at the camp include: morning, afternoon, and evening game drives, 1-3 hour interpretive bush walks, and three hour interpretive walks.

The Chobe River

Today you’ll depart from Onguma to the Chobe River banks to stay at the Chobe Water Villas. As you fly towards Namibia’s Zambezi region, you will see many diverse landscapes and even possibly some wildlife. As you arrive at Kasane Airport you will clear immigration and be transferred to the Lodge.

The friendly staff at the lodge will welcome you upon arrival and get you settled in for your extraordinary stay. The area of the Chobe River is known for excellent game viewing and stunning scenery.

Chobe Water Villas truly offers an authentic experience in the Zambezi region and on the banks of the Chobe River.
