Twice daily game drives, in the morning and afternoon/evening, are conducted by experienced guides. Spend 3 nights at Elephant Plains Game Lodge, one of the most popular lodges in the world-famous Sabi Sand. The rondavels, or standard rooms, at Elephant Plains, offer comfortable, old bushveld charm rooms under thatch. Each room has a sitting area, is en suite and set in the pretty gardens. An upgrade is available to the luxury suites which are larger, with an outside shower and large deck overlooking the surrounding bush.

Visit Waterbuck Lodge in Thornybush

Enjoy the morning safari and brunch at Elephant Plains before your private transfer arrives to take you to the diverse Thornybush Game Reserve with prolific game viewing. Spend 3 nights at the intimate and welcoming Waterbuck Lodge, located to the south of Thornybush is a forested area overlooking a large and active dam.

There are just four rooms at Waterbuck, spread out through the trees. Each is ensuite and has a sitting area out on the deck. The main areas have a lounge and indoor dining area, a bar and siting on the deck and a lovely pool area with loungers overlooking the dam. The beauty of this camp is that the morning and afternoon/evening game drives take you all over the Thornybush in search of the prolific game that is found here. The drives are conducted by experienced guides with coffee and sundowner stops. Bird lovers will enjoy this camp in the summer months when the migratory birds arrive.
